Fargo Water Treatment Plant photograph collection [graphic].

Collection contains primarily images from the period when the Fargo water treatment plant was constructed in 1911-1912, although the images do extend into the 1970s. Most of the early images are of construction scenes of the plant, both exterior and of the machinery in the new facility. There are also images of later additions to the facility and construction of the Fourth Street Dam on the Red River. The lantern slides are images primarily of construction plans and blueprints while only 14 are actual photographic images. For most of the negatives there are corresponding prints in the collection, but for some 80 negatives there are no prints. There are only a small number of portraits and most are unidentified, except for Frank L. Anders, engineer for the construction of the plant.

72 lantern slides.185 film negatives ; 5 x 7 in.20 film negatives ; 120 mm.
